So happy with my TFSA!

I just opened a TFSA with Justwealth and I'm so glad I did! The setup was super easy, and their website is really clean and simple to navigate. I got the Global Equity Portfolio and it feels like a perfect fit for my goals. Everything just clicked. I'm telling all my friends about this. Definitely using them again for future investments!

Consistent service for years

I've been with Justwealth for a few years now, primarily for my RRSP and a US Dollar Account. This most recent interaction was to set up a Corporate Investment Account. Like previous times, the process was efficient. Their support team has always been consistent in their responses, and I appreciate that. I continue to come back because their platform is reliable, and the ETF Portfolios they offer align well with my strategy. It's nice not having to worry much about my investments.

Smooth RESP setup

I opened an RESP account for my daughter a few weeks ago. The online process was fairly straightforward, though it took a little longer than I expected to get all the documents verified, about 5 business days. Once everything was set up, transferring funds in was easy. I used their chat support a couple of times for questions about the Target Date RESP option, and they were responsive and helpful. The portfolio itself seems well-balanced, and I appreciate the low fees compared to what I was paying before. It's too early to see significant returns, but the initial experience has been good. I feel confident about the automated management.

Good value for my RRSP

I was looking to transfer my RRSP and wanted to find the best deal. Justwealth had a new account promotion that included a management fee discount for the first 6 months, which was a nice bonus. They also reimbursed the transfer fees from my old institution, which saved me a bit. The minimum investment wasn't too high, making it accessible. Overall, I feel like I got good value for my money. The automated investing seems solid, and the lower fees mean more of my money stays invested. It was a practical choice for my budget.

How does Justwealth stack up against Wealthsimple? Anyone tried both?

I Ian Lee 1 week ago
I've used both. Justwealth feels a bit more hands-on with the financial planning aspect, whereas Wealthsimple is super streamlined. Depends what you're looking for.

Justwealth's fees are pretty competitive, similar to Wealthsimple but I found their RESP options a bit more tailored. Both good though.

I'm looking into opening an RESP for my kid. Are there any special deals for those, or is it just the general new client bonus?

A Ashley Lee 3 weeks ago
They often have specific RESP sign-up bonuses, especially around back to school time. Keep an eye out.

I got a special RESP bonus when I opened mine a couple of years ago, plus the new client thing. They definitely do targeted promos for those accounts.

my buddy told me about a referral bonus they have. how does that even work, do i just get a code from him?

H Hannah M. 1 month ago
Yeah, usually your friend sends you a referral link and you sign up through that. The bonus gets applied automatically then.

It's pretty simple. Just use the link during sign-up. I think both of you get something, that's how it worked for me anyway.

Hey, thinking about switching my RRSP to Justwealth. Do they cover the transfer fees from my old bank?

O Olivia Harris 3 weeks ago
Yeah, they usually do. I transferred my TFSA over last year and they reimbursed the fee, I think it was for accounts over a certain amount.

Can confirm, they covered mine too. I just had to show them the statement with the fee. Pretty straightforward.
